Embrace it Aw
Our ‘Embrace it aw’ event was a night to remember.
The night kicked off with a great presentation by our SHE Voices group, who showed us what they had learnt about social media and its effects on women and their own personal journey on the Summer film project.
12 week primary school programme.
Workshop activities are designed to enable girls to become more aware of their emotions, increase positive interactions with others and practice techniques which help them focus.
SHE Voices was a project that aimed to give women 13+ a platform to voice their experience on the issue of social media and its affects on women. This was done through group work/discussion based activities and creative means such as poetry, art and drama. Over the six weeks, the women made a short film on social media and their experience of the project.
